GOLF COURSE CHARACTERISTICS |

The Golf Club of Amarante was inaugurated in 1997. It is a 40 acre field with four lakes and located roughly at about 600 meters of altitude which conveys mountain characteristics. This golf course is also characterized for having 7 holes of par 3 and 3 holes of par 5. The first hole is located on a steep descent of 495 meters and the last one, relatively short with 447 meters on a low pronounced ascent. Hole number 12, with 455 meters has a lake on its right side, which requires a strong swing to surpass and on the left side a fence marking the course΄s boundary. Finally, four bunkers protecting the green. Excellent greens (quick, although slightly short).
